Wild Idy Tree Foundation was founded in 2018 by Koosje Pino who has lived in Idyllwild for over 40 years and worked as a tree professional for the majority of that time. His tree service was frequently called out by utility companies to remove perfectly healthy trees because they were growing dangerously into power lines. As someone who values our forest and environment, Koosje felt moved to find a way to give back to the community and responsibly replant as many trees as possible. Wild Idy Tree Foundation has since planted thousands trees locally.
